Tenuta Genevrina

A distinctively designed Burgundy bottle: the case of Tenuta Genevrina and Matilde from the Horizon collection

In the heart of Monferrato, between iconic hills and historic vineyards, the company Tenuta Genevrina represents a perfect balance between memory and innovation. A winemaking reality that does not only grow grapes, but also profound values, family tradition and entrepreneurial vision.

Ettore is born among the rows of this land, an intense and sophisticated Barbera del Monferrato, a tribute to an extraordinary man: Ettore, boxer and entrepreneur, as well as great-grandfather of Luca, the soul of the estate.

When wine meets design: special wine bottles that tell a story

To best express the strong personality and symbolic value of this wine, Tenuta Genevrina has chosen Matilde, the Borgognotta bottle from our Horizon collection.

A choice that does not only concern aesthetics, but also the strategy and visual coherence of the brand.

Matilde is a robust and compact bottle, with a modern line that breaks the mold of classic shapes. Its design stands out for its wide, round base, a low neck and a flat band mouth. Elements that make it one of the most recognisable and sought-after Burgundy wine bottles on the current scene.

But there’s more: the red-coloured hollow on the bottom of the bottle is a symbolic reference to the ring, a tribute to Ettore’s boxing past. A detail that does not go unnoticed and that transforms the bottle into a real visual story.

The strength of Matilde lies not only in its shape, but also in the customisation possibilities it offers. Thanks to the lower hollow that can be painted with Pantone, the bottle becomes a creative canvas on which to build a recognisable and coherent brand identity. In an increasingly visual market, where the consumer’s eye often guides the purchasing decision, investing in unique wine bottles with a strong aesthetic impact can really make a difference.

This is where our Horizon collection finds its maximum expression: offering not only designer wine bottles, but tools capable of communicating the character of the wine even before tasting. And Matilde, with its modern and compact look, is the perfect example.

High-impact total packaging: an example to follow

The packaging created by Tenuta Genevrina is a virtuous example of how designer wine bottles can become an integral part of the brand’s identity.

Starting from a premium bottle, a coherent, distinctive and visually impactful total packaging was built, completed by a perfectly coordinated label, capsule and packaging.

The result? A bottle that attracts the eye, excites and is remembered. An object that stimulates the purchasing process and maximizes the content.

Tenuta Genevrina has been able to exploit all the potential of the Horizon collection, demonstrating how special wine bottles, if chosen with care and combined with a clear vision, can become true branding tools.
