Stelisa Olive Oil
Stelisa Garda DOP Case Study: Between Identity, Glass, and Premium Decoration
Design olive oil bottles are not simply containers, but strategic tools for communicating the value of a product, strengthening a brand’s identity and increasing the perceived quality of extra virgin olive oil.
The new packaging of Stelisa Garda DOP was born from this very vision: evolving the brand image without losing its identity, enhancing every detail through a distinctive bottle that is deeply consistent with the product’s premium positioning.
The project brought together different and complementary skills: Gruppo Saida for the selection of the bottle, Studiopoletto for the creative project and P&P Promotion for the decorative secondary processes. The result is a concrete example of how design olive oil bottles can become a central element in building a brand story.
Packaging as an evolution of product identity
The drop as a distinctive brand element
In rethinking the premium line dedicated to Garda DOP Extra Virgin Olive Oil, the company chose not to distort its identity, but to make it even more conscious, contemporary and distinctive.
One of the elements preserved is the drop, a symbol that has accompanied the brand since its origins and represents the highest expression of oil quality.
Alongside this sign, a delicate and elegant hand takes shape, gradually revealing itself depending on the light and the angle from which the bottle is observed. This detail conveys the most human dimension of the project: the care, dedication and attention to detail typical of a family business where every choice still passes through people.
Studiopoletto: an essential, symbolic and contemporary design
The creative project, developed by Studiopoletto, translates Stelisa’s values into an essential, sophisticated and contemporary visual language.
The female hand holding the drop of oil becomes a symbolic gesture, capable of communicating selection, balance and value. The drop, the central element of the project, recalls the uniqueness of the DOP and the deep bond with the Garda area.
Packaging designed to elevate the perception of EVO oil
The design was conceived to elevate the perception of EVO oil, turning it into an object of desire, rituality and recognition. In this sense, packaging does not only serve an aesthetic function, but also helps strengthen the product’s premium positioning and its ability to stand out on the market.
When design becomes a communication tool
The Stelisa case demonstrates how design olive oil bottles can transform packaging into a true communication tool: every visual choice, from graphics to decoration, helps make the product more recognizable, memorable and consistent with its value.
Elegance Horizon: the olive oil bottle selected by Gruppo Saida
To enhance a project so strongly connected to attention to detail and the pursuit of a unique appeal, Elegance was selected: an olive oil bottle from our Premium collection.
Elegance is a compact and refined shape, characterized by a cylindrical body and a sinuous shoulder. These elements give it a harmonious, solid and highly recognizable design, ideal for products that aim to communicate quality and contemporaneity.
The Horizon recess as a distinctive feature
The distinctive element of the entire collection is the Horizon recess, an iconic feature designed for those who want a bottle capable of expressing the brand’s identity and offering a memorable experience from the very first glance.
A wide decorative surface for premium projects
The cylindrical shape and wide decorative surface make Elegance a suitable solution for projects in which the bottle needs to interact with graphics, finishes and secondary processes. For this reason, it is an ideal choice for companies looking for distinctive olive oil bottles, capable of combining premium aesthetics, functionality and recognizability.
In the Stelisa Garda DOP project, Elegance helps build a solid and sophisticated visual presence, making the packaging immediately identifiable.
P&P Promotion: decorated olive oil bottles with exclusive technologies and finishes
The secondary processes were carried out by P&P Promotion, which gave depth and material value to the project through exclusive technologies and finishes.
The glass coloring was achieved using the patented CMCV® technology, developed and owned by P&P Promotion. This technology makes it possible to color the bottle using colored glass powders instead of traditional paints or inks, obtaining a surface that is highly resistant to mechanical and chemical aggression and capable of preserving its beauty over time.
For Stelisa, a special semi-matt finish was chosen, giving elegance and depth to the color while also providing an anti-stain function. Any oil residues can in fact be easily removed without compromising the aesthetics of the bottle.
The decoration was completed with a glossy multicolor print, created using raised elements and lines of different intensities. This process generates a refined play of light and shadow and offers a distinctive tactile perception, enriching the sensory experience of the packaging.
To further enhance the project, a drop in real pure gold was applied, recalling the effect of a precious golden pour on the glass surface.
Thanks to these processes, the Stelisa Garda DOP packaging becomes an example of decorated olive oil bottles in which aesthetics, technology and functionality work together to strengthen the perceived value of the product.
Design and customization of olive oil bottles
The Stelisa Garda DOP case demonstrates how design and customization of olive oil bottles are now decisive elements in creating recognizable and consistent packaging.
A design olive oil bottle does not simply contain extra virgin olive oil, but helps communicate its positioning, origin, value and brand personality.
Shape, color and finishes as elements of visual identity
Shape, proportions, glass color, decorative surface, finishes and graphic details become visual communication tools, capable of influencing consumer perception from the very first glance.
For producers who want to stand out on the market, choosing distinctive olive oil bottles means going beyond standard solutions and building a stronger identity. Customization can involve different aspects: the choice of a premium shape, the enhancement of an iconic brand element, the use of secondary processes, glass decoration, the inclusion of tactile details or the application of precious finishes.
Customization as a lever to increase perceived value
In the Stelisa project, these elements work together coherently: the Elegance Horizon bottle offers a distinctive shape and an ideal surface for decoration; the creative project enhances the brand’s identifying symbols; the processes carried out by P&P Promotion transform the glass into a material, elegant and sensory surface.
It is precisely this synergy between design, glass and customization that makes decorated olive oil bottles a strategic tool for brands that want to communicate quality, care and differentiation. When every detail is designed with consistency, the bottle becomes an integral part of the brand experience and helps increase the perceived value of the product.
Because the most successful projects always come from the meeting of different skills, united by the same pursuit of quality.
